WE WANT TO RESOURCE YOUNG PEOPLE TO BE THE BEST VERSION OF THEMSELVES. WE HAVE DEVELOPED RESOURCES TO ALLOW YOUNG PEOPLE TO GET HELP WITH THEIR MENTAL HEALTH & FIND OUT MORE ABOUT THE FIRST STEPS OF BEING A CHRISTIAN.

As LIGHT artists communicate the gospel and allow young people to respond to it, we wanted to leave them with an easy to access & relevant follow on to making a decision to follow Jesus.
A young person gets given a AAA pass at a show. The AAA pass is on a lanyard & there are instructions on the pass that tell you to visit www.theaaapass.com. This website takes the young person through the gospel message, using the 3 points, ACCESS, ALL & AREAS. This gives them a chance to find out more or even respond to the gospel.
After this, the young person is linked to a youth leader at a local youth group, where a 6 - week discipleship resource is run - the AAA Sessions. Through 6 sessions, a young person can hear the fundamentals of what being a Christian is all about, connect into church life and connect with other young people in their area.
We have been using this in schools weeks across the UK and have seen amazing success in reaching young people and once making a response we are able to have insights into where they are on the course.
I'MPOSSIBLE
Mental health is such an important subject in today's culture. Mental health has often been ignored or pushed to the side but more and more people are recognising it as a real issue. We wanted to ensure that we are at the forefront of supporting young people.
We've seen a range of mental health issues whilst touring across the globe, especially on our schools tours. This is something that we wanted to be able to tackle alongside young people and give them somewhere that we could point them to. This is when we created I'mpossible.

I'mpossible is a play on the words I'm & Possible, telling young people that nothing is Impossible but it is possible to get through life & hold on during the rollercoaster of life.

We have created a resource that not only shares our artist's personal experiences and opinions on topics ranging from self - harm to depression but working with our great friend Lily Jo at the Lily Jo Project, we are able to point them to this award winning self help resource that links them with professional videos, tips & counselors.
PEACEMAKER
At LIGHT, we want to not only make a difference in individual's lives but also impact culture for the better. During a time where knife crime is a serious issue throughout the UK, we launched the Peacemaker campaign. We have started by getting young people to sign up to 'Fight for peace' in their homes, schools and communities by signing a declaration.

In the future we aim to expand this initiative to include a knives down tour, with LIGHT artists partnering with other charities. This will see anonymity bins placed in towns and cities throughout the UK, with the knives placed in them being melted down & used to build outdoor gyms.
We will help facilitate a gym instructor/mentor to be at the outdoor gym to train/mentor young people and inspire them to be part of the change in their community. All of this will be channeled through www.peacemaker.live.
